Cool Riders spread joy

Members of the Cool Riderz Motorcycle Club brought “Back to School” cheer to the lives of children of the Leeward end of this country on Sunday, September 9.{{more}}

The programme, which is in its third year, is an initiative by members of Cool Riderz Motorcycle Club, with help from various businesses, to give back to the society. The major contributors were Square Deal Shippers, SVG General Services, Jamar General Services Ltd., SVG Tire Sales and Services, Nice Foods Restaurant, Island Wide Shipping, BMC Agencies Ltd., Sailor Cycle Centre, Food Basket, Allan Smith Family Bakery and Sprott Distributors.

The members handed out school supplies to the anxious youngsters and parents who expressed gratitude for the contributions, which came just in time for school, at a total cost of $40,000, with packages costing $5,000.

The contents of each package included one note book, six exercise books, pencils, erasers, sharpener, ruler, numerous book bags, snacks and water bottles.
