Cool Riderz Motor Cycle Club continues to serve the community

The Cool Riderz Motor Cycle Club continued its community activities on Saturday 28th July when a food basket valued at $400 was presented to 84-year-old Promise Stapleton of Rose Hall. Stapleton had been identified as needing help by District Nurse Kenrick Stapleton and Nursing Assistant Aileen Scott of the Rose Hall Health Centre.{{more}} Witnessing the presentation were Stapleton’s son Lester Williams, along with other community members.

The Cool Riderz Club Members also donated a quantity of used clothing to the residents of Rose Hall, which from observations was well received.

A tabletop refrigerator was also presented by the club to the Nursing staff of the Rose Hall Clinic on behalf of Ruby Wood of Square Deal Shippers. The staff expressed their thanks for the donation.

The group conducted Blood Pressure Checks, Blood Sugar checks, counseling on diet, compliance with medications and the importance of keeping appointments. Take home cards were issued to all persons attending the session. Referrals were done with the nursing staff.
