‘It’s not over until it’s over!’

These were the words of hope repeated during the three nights of deliverance meetings held July 15th -17th at the New Life Ministries Church in North Union by St. Lucian born Pastor Dr. Peter Leonce.{{more}}

In his message Dr. Leonce reminded believers that regardless of who they are, everyone is in need of deliverance. He highlighted the fact that we all have a need to be delivered from suicidal thoughts, depression, anger, incest, lust, unforgiveness, rejection, a constant desire to be held, and being an illegitimate child among others.

He gained the attention of many when he expanded on rejection and its causes. He encouraged mothers to breast feed their children to create a bond with them.

“If mothers refuse to breast feed, the child develops feelings of rejection and when he or she gets older they are always in need of being held by someone.”

Leonce also said that when a child is conceived and is not wanted by the parents who deemed it unplanned and unwanted, the child suffers rejection from the womb unto birth.

Mothers were also encouraged to desist from calling their children names which can cause them to develop feelings of rejection.

At the conclusion of the meetings, many testified of their healings and deliverance and others of being enlightened by the teachings of Dr. Leonce’s ministry.
