Three government officers return from Taiwan

Three Officers of Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines returned from a trip to Taiwan last week. They are Clarence Harry of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Commerce and Trade, Simone Joseph of Ministry of Telecommunication, Science, Technology and Industry, and Yuri Saunders of Prime Minister’s Office. The visit was for 10 days, from March 18 to March 27.{{more}}

During their stay in Taiwan, the three officers visited Government offices, Taiwan Academy of Banking and Finance, International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF), National Palace Museum, Taipei World Trade Center (Taipei 101, the tallest building in the world).

They were also the first Vincentian group to experience the High Speed Train, which was recently launched at a top speed of 300 kilometers per hour, and travels from the north to the south of Taiwan.

The visit of the three officers is a part of continuing series of exchange programs between Taiwan and the St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
