National Crusade climaxes this weekend
Youths in St. Vincent and the Grenadines will get the opportunity to come together tomorrow for a grand Youth Celebration at the Victoria Park compliments the Evangelical Churches in St. Vincent and the Grenadines National Crusade.
Speaking at a press conference last Friday, Director of the Crusade in St. Vincent, John Lewis told the media that on Saturday March 24, the youths from all the eight zones would converge at the park for the celebration.{{more}}
On Sunday March 25, there will be the grand finale of the National Crusade where all the zones will assemble together at the Victoria Park for a celebration at 5 in the afternoon.
“The entire nation will come together to return thanks to God for what he has done the previous days across the nation,” Lewis told the media last week.
At the closing ceremony there will be performances from Carlene Davis from Jamaica, Issac Blackman and local artistes. There will also be performances in singing, dancing, poetry and other items from different churches in the island.
A total of approximately 17 speakers from North America and the Caribbean participated in the crusade that was held in eight zones simultaneously over the past week. The zones met at the Sandy Bay School Grounds, New Grounds Playing Field, Cane End Playing Field, Calliaqua Playing Field, Victoria Park, Barrouallie playing Field, Chateaubelair Playing Field and the Clive Tannis Playing Field in Bequia.
