Standards Bureau to open offices Monday

The St.Vincent and the Grenadines Bureau of Standards (SVGBS) will be officially opening its Offices and Laboratories at a ceremony to be held on Monday, March 19, 2007 at its upgraded and expanded premises at Campden Park.

The ceremony commences at 3.00 p.m.

Coupled with this opening ceremony, a mini-exhibition will also be held at the Bureau’s compound, showcasing local products by the Bureau’s stakeholders.{{more}}

During the opening ceremony, addresses will be given by Prime Minister, Dr. Ralph E. Gonsalves, Dr Jerrol Thompson, Minister with responsibilities for the Bureau of Standards, Deputy Prime Minster and Minster of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Sir Louis Straker, Area Representative René Baptiste, as well as the Director of the Bureau of Standards, Ezra D. Ledger.

The general public as well as all stakeholders are invited to the opening and to appreciate the new face of Standards, Quality Assurance and Metrology in St.Vincent and the Grenadines.
