Dennie heads Evangelical Church of the West Indies

The Evangelical Church of the West Indies elected a new Executive at a two-day meeting of the General Council of the Evangelical Churches held late last year, at the Mt Coke Conference Center at Stubbs.

The Reverend Amos Dennie who was elected as Moderator is now head of the fifty-four year old organization in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.{{more}}

He is no stranger to this office; having served in this position on two previous occasions and has been a member of the organization for over four decades. He will head the organization for the next three (3) years.

Reverend Mc Allister Creese is his Deputy and the other members of the executive are: Reverend Maxwell Providence, who is also Superintendent of the Evangelical Church of the West Indies in the South Eastern Caribbean District and French Guiana; Reverend Cameron Cato, the Secretary, Mr. Trevor (Sailor) Bailey-Assistant Secretary / PRO, Pastor Herman Dalzell the New Financial Controller and Reverend Douglas Neverson as nominated member.

According to Reverend Dennie, his main focus will be to lead the church in fulfilling its mandate in taking a more holistic approach in proclaiming the whole gospel, to the whole man, by the whole church, to the whole world, which is the only option of the church.
