Officials sworn-in at Government House

Six persons representing the Public and Police Service Commissions were Sworn-in by His Excellency Sir Frederick Ballantyne, Governor-General, at Government House on Wednesday January 10, 2007.

Their appointments took effect from 17th November 2006 and their term of office, subject to the provisions of the relevant Sections of the Constitution Order, will expire at midnight on November 16, 2008.

Appointed to both the Public and Police Service Commissions are Cecil ‘Blazer’ Williams – Chairman, Evelyn Jackson, Charles James and Amos Dennie. Winston Gaymes was appointed to the Public Service Commission while Leopold Stoddard was appointed to the Police Service Commission.
