BARBADOS – 100 for ‘PA’. Behind every good man is a great woman; and centenarian Mortimer St Clair Da Costa Hunte knows that for certain. Seen here Tuesday morning sharing a warm moment with his love of more than 80 years, Leotta, Hunte explained he and his wife did their best to raise a good family “on very little money, hard work and by the grace of God”.

Known to his neighbours in Well House, St Philip, as “Pa” Hunte, the 100-year old received a visit and a big toast from Governor-General Sir Clifford Husbands and spent the rest of his birthday surrounded by several relatives as he celebrated his milestone. (Barbados Nation)
