Sealey heads foreign languages group

Sylvia Sealey, a Modern Languages Teacher at the St Vincent Grammar School is the new president of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Association of Teachers of Foreign Languages.

The other members of the executive are Vice-president Harriet Da Silva, Secretary Dianetta Seaton, Assistant Secretary Antoinette Jardine, Treasurer Keneisha Richardson, and Public Relations Officer Darrel Williams.

Flavia Howard, Education Officer with responsibility for Modern Languages also serves on the executive.

The association is charged with improving delivery of instruction in French and Spanish at the primary and secondary levels and is currently making plans for the national Foreign Languages Exhibition scheduled for February 2007.
