New look for SVGBC

During the presentation ceremony held at Roy’s Inn, Richard MacLeish, assistant manager of SVGBC, noted that the competition was opened last year not only to residents of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, but also Caricom nationals.

Opening the competition to non-nationals, he said, exemplifies his company’s regional approach to broadcasting. “We wanted the artist’s impression of SVGBC from watching SVGTV over the years and listening to Hitz FM. The criteria we used was simplicity, the logo being able to reproduce easily and electronically, and Mrs Gun-Munro satisfied all of the requirements and was definitely what we thought SVGBC should look like,” MacLeish mentioned.

Gun-Munro expressed her gratitude to SVGBC for hosting the competition. The new company logo will now be used as the hallmark of the various mediums of SVGBC, including SVGTV, Hitz FM and svgbc.com.
