Dr. Gonsalves after three-peat

It appears that Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves may be considering going for a full third term in office.

He gave a hint of this earlier this week as he spoke about the Inquiry into the Ottley Hall Project.

Previously the Prime Minister had indicated that he will spend two terms in office and lead his Unity Labour Party into a third election campaign to secure a third term, then vacate the post.{{more}}

But on Monday, April 24, Dr.Gonsalves when sharing his views on how some people perceive the Commission of Inquiry, said he is keen to see how some people who are brought before the Commission will continue evading it until 2015.

“There are some people who think the Commission of Inquiry was established as a joke. I have another four years here God’s willing, I want to see how you are going to dance me for a further four years with the Commission of Inquiry and God’s willing I am here in 2010, I want to see if you are going dance me further by the year 2015 on this issue,” Dr. Gonsalves expounded.

The Prime Minister said he has the patience of Job and he was determined to get to the bottom of the matter.

“So if anybody thinks this is something which they could treat as light and episodic they should vacate that thought from their mind,” said Dr. Gonsalves.
