Personal development training for SVG youth

The Youth Affairs Department will be targeting some 150 young people across this country with another series of Soft Skills Training programmes next week.

The programme forms part of the training component of the Youth Empowerment Service Programme of SVG (YES-SVG).{{more}}

The training will focus mainly on “Personal Development Training” with emphasis on areas such as professional image and attitude in the work place, good work ethics, reasons for work, effective budgeting, developing good human relationship in the work place, communication and values clarification.

The first session will be held at the Youth Affairs Conference Room on Monday 27th March.

The second session will take place at the Barrouallie Community Centre on Tuesday 28th March and the third at the San Souci Learning Resource Centre on Wednesday 29th.

Each activity will run from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm daily. Assistant Youth Officer in the Youth Affairs Department, Anastacia Harry, will conduct the training sessions.
