The proceeds of the treasure hunt will go towards the Bread of Life Community, which is an orphanage at Fairburn Pasture.

The Kiwanis, a club which has been in existence here for over a year, seeks to focus on the needs of children. President Audrey Gittens-Scott said at the brief handing over ceremony that the business community has been rather helpful when they ask for assistance. She went on to say community groups often come to them to ask for assistance for the children.

On Friday March 17, the club also received a cheque for $15,000.00 from the Social Investment Fund. The money will be used to implement a poultry project on behalf of the Bread of Life Community. The objective of the project is to supplement the dietary requirements of the residents and to provide them with a regular source of income.
