Open House at UWIDEC
Representatives from Admissions and from the different Faculties of the University of the West Indies are in St. Vincent and the Grenadines today to participate in what it is hoped will be an Annual University âOPEN HOUSEâ. {{more}}
During the mornings, they will interact with students at some Secondary schools in and around Kingstown, at the Community College and the University Centre. From 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m they will make themselves available to other students, teachers and members of the general public.
The University is particularly interested in exposing students at the fourth and fifth form levels since it has been its experience that quite often by the time students are ready to apply to the University or other tertiary level institutions they would already have made decisions about courses, some of which might not necessarily be relevant to their intended field of study and work.
