Nurse presents paper in Taiwan

President of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Nurses Association, Sister Susanna Forde presented a paper on the development of the Health Care and Nursing Systems in St. Vincent and the Grenadines in Taipei on Wednesday, November 16.

The President was guest speaker at a Conference convened by the National Taipei College of Nursing and the Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund. {{more}}

The theme of the Conference reflected issues related to the growth of international healthcare and nursing, and the event took place at the National Taipei College of Nursing from November 15 – 16, 2005.

The President of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Nurses Association reported on some of the developments within the local healthcare and nursing systems and received high praises for what appeared to be an almost perfect healthcare system. She spoke of the numerous deficiencies that had plagued St. Vincent and the Grenadines over the past 20 years, and the strategies that were put in place to alleviate these health concerns.
