Sun Princess returns to SVG

The crusade by Minister of Tourism and Culture, Rene Baptiste to clean up capital Kingstown seems to have paid off. This was made evident when the cruise ship, Sun Princess returned to St.Vincent and the Grenadines after withdrawing their vessels from the country because of complaints of an untidy city. {{more}}Baptiste announced the arrival of the passenger ship on Sunday, October 9 at her launching as the Unity Labour Party ULP’s candidate for West Kingstown.

The elated Minister noted, “Sister Girlyn Miguel told you, we cleaned up the city, members of my staff, secondary school children and you know Sun Princess is due to come back on Wednesday. Wednesday coming here, Sun Princess coming and later next month the Sea Princess is coming and on March 28, the world’s largest cruise ship the Queen Mary would be docking in Port Kingstown.”
