Barbados Cadet Corps visits St. Vincent

The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Cadet Force facilitated the visit of cadets form the Barbados Cadet Corps from 22 to 28 July 2005.

The visit was part of the programme of strengthening the cadet movement in the region. {{more}}

The cadets numbered approximately one hundred and fifty, and were based at the C. W. Prescod Primary School, Kingstown. The contingent comprised of members from the Band, the Drill Display Unit and a Detachment of Sea Cadets.

While here, they were involved in a number of community concerts and drill displays.

The Sea Cadets were involved in a variety of aquatic activities and assisting the local cadet movement with setting-up its Sea Cadet Programme.
