Vincentian wins award in Mexico

Maala Theobalds a Vincentian student studying International Relations in Mexico has copped the best delegate award in a national International Relations symposium. The event was based on a model of the United Nations organised by the Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Puebla (BUAP). {{more}}

Theobalds who represented her university in the Security Council debate, beat out delegates from other top mexican Universites like the Universidad Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM), Universidad de Las Americas (UDLA), Tec de Monterrey and Universidad Autonoma de Puebla.

The symposium ran from April 27 to 30. The award was presented to Theobalds at the closing ceremony by Chancellor of the University Enrique Aguera Ibañez who commended her on outstanding debating skills.
