Staff Nurse Morgan expressed her thanks on behalf of the other members of staff of the hospital, and assured that the money had come at a most opportune time, as it would go a long way in meeting some needs.

In their upcoming anniversary celebrations commencing May 8 to 14, the Leo Club St. Vincent will be attending a church service at the Faith Temple Church, Montrose, followed by a panel discussion with other organisations within St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Also organized are a series of activities/projects which includes a Free Clinic for persons suffering from hypertension and diabetes. This clinic is scheduled for May 10, at the Lions Den, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will be opened to all persons.

Also scheduled is a geriatric drive in the South Leeward Constituency where a number of food baskets will be donated to the elderly citizens within that community.
