Taiwan Naval ships visit St. Vincent

A Taiwanese Naval Squadron visiting St. Vincent and the Grenadines on a two-day visit from today, April 29 to April 30, is offering the public the chance to visit the ship.

An opening ceremony is scheduled for 9 a.m. Friday with a kung-fu performance by the naval cadet corps at 3.30 p.m. from today in front of the Administrative Complex on Bay Street.{{more}}

The ship will be open to the public from 10.30 a.m. through 4.30 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on Saturday.

The Taiwanese Embassy said that the ship has traveled around the world to extend thanks to the government and people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines for their support of the Taiwanese people.
