Several children were the happy recipients of T-shirts last Monday 11 at the Paediatric Ward of the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.

The gifts came courtesy the Children’s Foundation of Manitoba, Canada, and International H.O.P.E of Winnipeg and were delivered by Byron Jones, who was visiting from Canada, assisted by Sister Jaqueline King, head of the ward.{{more}}

Several of the children, whose parents were present, posed for photographs which will be sent back to the donors in Canada.

One young boy volunteered to guide the visitors around the ward while the t-shirts were distributed. Since the boy was concerned that his sister, also sick, should also get one of the gifts, the visitors ensured she was not disappointed.
