According to Tranport Minister Julian Francis, this concession would not only be for minibus drivers, but for all persons owning vehicles costing government $750,000 per year.

He said concessions are presently given to drivers who operate tour buses and those who transport students through the Ministry of Education.

He explained that there are field officers monitoring these buses and if the operators do not live up to their concessions they will have to pay their duty or have the concessions withdrawn.
