A new ten-minute radio series is to hit the airwaves soon.

The radio drama, called “In This Life” is being produced by the Regional Radio Project (RRP) which has been launched at the Bequia Community High School. It will address issues if teenage pregnancy and parenting. {{more}}

Students of Bequia secondary schools will benefit from the RRP which will be used during Health and Family Life sessions to provide stimulus for discussion in the class room.

The R.R.P. is a programme to support parenting and early childhood development in five Caribbean countries – St. Lucia, Dominica, Trinidad and Tobago, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Belize. It is being done through the Caribbean Support Initiative (C.S.I.), the Caribbean outreach arm of the Bernard van Leer Foundation.

“In This Life” is being produced by a committee, consisted of Bequians, with technical assistance provided by students of the Caribbean Institute of Media and Communication (CARIMAC).
