Bank launches CareerFirst

FirstCaribbean International Bank has introduced a graduate recruitment and training programme, called CareerFirst.

The bank says that the CareerFirst Programme offers “a unique opportunity for individuals to develop business and technical knowledge and capability, gaining critical work skills and valuable knowledge from working in a complex international organisational environment.” {{more}}

CareerFirst is a highly structured, quick-paced training programme, which will provide the right candidate with an excellent grounding in banking and the financial services. It is open to young nationals of the Caribbean who are:

• interested in a career in banking or the financial arena;

• a recent (2003 – 2005) university graduate with at least a first or second class honours degree;

• ideally between the ages of 20 and 25 years old;

• willing to travel, and

• a Caribbean national.

Each individual taking part in CareerFirst Graduate Development programme will undergo two years of fast-track training at FirstCaribbean’s offices throughout sixteen countries in the Caribbean, Bahamas and Belize.
