Emmanuel on a mission

Realising that a chain is as strong as its weakest link, the young leaders of the Emmanuel High Kingstown are on a mission to help the Grenada Boys’ Secondary School.

The group has identified that school among others from the hurricane-ravaged island as the weak link that needs strenghtening. {{more}}

The Young Leaders have therefore chosen to raise funds for those students in Grenada through fund-raising activities.

Most recently, the group held a march from the EHSK at Victoria Park to Heritage Square where a rally was held with the entire student body of over 670 students.

The massive rally saw various performances and modeling in cultural wear to feature the different types of attire worn throughout the region and also had lawyer Vynnette “Vinny V” Frederick as the feature speaker.

Already the Young Leaders have visited 15 primary schools to speak under the sub-theme “Our Caribbean, many links, one chain – a time for joining.”
