Bunpan honours five
Five persons have been awarded by the Marriaqua United Friendly Society, BUNPAN, for their service.
Foundation members OâNeil Trimmingham and Velma Browne; former President Enville Clarke; former manager Hycinth Williams, who served for 46 years; and supervisor Molene Frank who is celebrating 30 years of service, were presented with awards on Sunday, 28 November at a ceremony held at the Societyâs lodge at Freeland.{{more}}
The awards ceremony brought the curtains down on the Societyâs fiftieth anniversary celebrations.
The awards ceremony was preceded by a march which started at the Mespo Police Station, and saw just over two dozen of the over 30,000 members joining staff and board members in the march that ended at the Societyâs lodge.
