The SVG Horticultural Society has elected a new executive. The new members are Kathy Martin – president; Elsa Velox – vice president; Janice Fraser – secretary; Kathleen Huggins – assistant secretary/treasurer; Jenny John – treasurer; Gwen Creese – ex officio member. {{more}}

Some of the activities of the society include its participation last October 18, along with a number of other groups and organizations, in a clean-up campaign around Kingstown and beautifying the E.T. Joshua Airport. Other areas for beautification have been earmarked.

The Society has already established the flower garden at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital and looks after its maintenance.
