Senior executives of Cable & Wireless recently spent two days visiting the hurricane-ravaged islands of Grenada, Jamaica and Grand Cayman to survey the company’s infrastructure, to lend support in restoration and relief efforts, and to assess what additional support is needed. {{more}}

Chief Operations Officer Kevin Loosemore said that, “Hurricane Ivan tested the resiliency of the Cable & Wireless network and we are thankful we were able to provide ongoing communications when people needed it most.”

He praised the C&W management and staff of those islands, ” … especially those who were at their posts during the hurricane to ensure we maintained service for our customers”. With the enthusiasm and teamwork they all demonstrated, “There’s no limit,” he said, “to what we can accomplish.”
