Code of conduct for all schools

A clearly outlined and specific code of conduct will be placed in every school at the end of this month. That’s according to Chief Education Officer Susan Dougan. {{more}}
She said that the Ministry of Education has a policy that deals with expulsion, termination and suspension, which will be placed in every school so that it can be referred to when the need arises.
Noting that the ministry is currently working on the strengthening of the management at schools, she said that principals are being asked to supervise teachers as well as other aspects of schooling.
Dougan also took the opportunity to urge parents to support teachers.
