Community College on shift system

The Community College will operate on a shift system beginning September 2004. This was disclosed by the Minister of Education the Hon. Mike Browne while addressing a meeting of principals and head teachers at the Peace Memorial Hall last Friday.{{more}}
Minister Browne said that this decision taken by Cabinet was a considered alternative, given the amount of students accepted and the limited space that was available. He also said that this would make for better learning conditions for students attending the College.
The new system will operate with classes from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to
8 p.m. The college currently hosts over 900 students.
