I’m sorry, says Bowman

Dennis Bowman has apologised for his performance in the 2004 Soca monarch competition.
Bowman, during the Soca Monarch competition, did the song ‘Funkin Soca’ this year which was criticized by one local newspaper which charged that he used indecent language on stage. {{more}}
In a letter to the Carnival Development Corporation(CDC) sent to this paper Bowman said he had sought to clarify a “misconception” that his song “was a veiled attempt at obscenity.”
“I am sorry for the unfortunate attention which my action has brought to the CDC and Soca Monarch show,” Bowman said.
