T&T to experience ‘Finding True Love’

From August 22 to 24, the Naparima Bowl in San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago, will witness the Diadem Dancers’ most recent production: “Finding True Love.”

One may remember that the Diadem Dancers first staged “Finding True Love” at the Peace Memorial Hall in September 2013 {{more}}and repeated it on Valentine’s weekend in February 2014, based on popular demand. This 14-year-old dance organization received rave reviews from each of their sold-out nights and embraced the opportunity to share the message abroad.

The management and members of the Diadem Dancers wish to thank everyone (sponsors and patrons) who made it possible to export this production. Special thanks to the Ministry of Tourism and Culture (SVG) for its endorsement and assistance with preparations for the tour.

Producer and choreographer Jemelia Pope is confident that the team is ready to deliver an explosive, energy-packed performance on all three nights. She also stated that slight changes were made to the production that she believes further compliments the entire experience.

Dancers and dramatists have been working consistently hard under the direction of cultural officer Michael Peters. The Trinidad edition of this production will feature award-winning guest artistes Joel ‘Positive’ Murray and Sean Daniel.

Tickets are available at the Naparima Bowl. Show time is 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 6 p.m. on Sunday night. The cast and crew will be leaving for Trinidad and Tobago during the course of this week.
