“Skinny” qualified for the Finals in the semi-final round two weeks ago with a crowd pleasing performance of his song “Worst Behaviour”. In the final he will have to lock horns with reigning Groovy monarch Machel Montano, who will sing in the 12th and last position, as well as the highly-rated female duo of Destra Garcia and Denise Belfon among others. Vincentians will all be rooting for success for “Skinny”. [See Voice of the People on Page 11]

Machel will have his work cut out for him tonight because he also defends his 2013 Power Soca title which he won jointly with soca legend Super Blue. Machel will also sing last in the Power Soca competition while Super Blue will sing in 5th position.
