Al Miguel, CEO of Club Gamerz International, is encouraging Vincentians to come out on Saturdays at 12:30 p.m. to either participate in the games or enjoy the atmosphere.

“Come on down to Roof Garden and enjoy. It’s fun and you’ll be able to make new friends,” he said.

He also encouraged people who are not gamers to come out as well.

“Even if you’re not a gamer you might be able to try one or two games yourself and enjoy something that you’ve never done before,” Miguel said.

Gamers can choose from three categories: the fighter category, the first person shooter (FPS) category and the sports category.

Games include EA Cricket, FIFA 13, Teken X Street Fighter, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops and Naruto Storm 2.

Miguel also noted that the turnout has been growing since their last event, ‘Clash of the Gamerz’, which was held last year at Aggie’s Restaurant and Bar.

He further encouraged the general public to come out to the event.

“You can bring your family, bring your husband, your wife, your girlfriend or boyfriend. Bring out the crew. Have fun instead of staying home aimlessly for something to do,” he said.(CA)
