The call will be at the Grenadine House at Kingstown Park from 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. and is being held by the Image Modelling Agency, which will be looking for females 5 ft 9” or over and males 5 ft 10” or over.

Absent from the entertainment scene for the past two years, Fashion Caribbean, will, to the delight of the Vincentian public, be on again this year. Fashion Caribbean was the first regional fashion show to bring together several regional designers on one stage.

Monique Arthur Tash, the Managing Director of the Image Modelling Agency, said the absence of the show was because “There are no venues to accommodate the show that Fashion Caribbean was blossoming into.

“For the past two years, we sat together and reshaped and reformed Fashion Caribbean to fit to the limited facilities that are available. There were also costs to consider because we want the show to be affordable to as many persons as possible. We are now at the place where we hoped to be, so Fashion Caribbean is most definitely a go this year,” said Tash.

Models who are selected for the show will undergo extensive runway training in preparation for Fashion Caribbean 2010. Prior modelling experience is therefore not necessary. Registration is $20. Interested persons can call the Image hotline on 45-Image for further information.
