Launched at the Carnival Development Corporation (CDC) press conference on Tuesday, the campaign addressed responsible drinking, drinking and driving,
selling drinks to minors and designated drivers.
Produced by Island Koncepts, the campaign solicited the services of members of the Vincy Soca Dans Network: Tabia, Luta, DJ Taurus, and Fireman Hooper.
According to Island Koncepts manager Dwight âBingâ Joseph, the first four promotions are just the beginning, as there are more responsible drinking campaigns to follow.
The Breweryâs Marketing Manager Wayne Murphy said the campaign is geared towards all persons who intend to consume alcohol, and advised them to know their limits.
Murphy was also the bearer of gifts at Tuesdayâs press conference, presenting cheques to the CDC, as well as a number of mas and calypso tents that they are sponsoring this year.
These include Heineken Dragons, Guinness Blondie bird and friends, SVG Players, Owen Ralph and the Professionals, High Voltage, Tribes, Graduates Calypso tent and The Upstage Experience. (JJ)
