The Image Modelling Agency continues in its quest to dominate the regional fashion and modelling industry. The agency is currently working to prepare for four upcoming regional events as well as begin the preparations for the upcoming Fashion Caribbean Show, which will be held in the month of September.

{{more}} Image Modelling Agency which this year celebrates its 10th Anniversary will be participating in the upcoming Barbados Fashion Week, which will be held from the March 24 – 26 . Organizers of the event, Malcolm Smith & Guyanese designer Roger Gary, selected three models to represent the agency in the show. These models are be Nedra Daniel, Brenda Williams, and Gary Constantine who left the island yesterday Thursday March 23. The agency will be carrying along a strong contingent of supporting models who will be working in the agency’s exhibition booth where they will be promoting the Agency, Fashion Caribbean 6, as well as St. Vincent & the Grenadines. This marketing contingent leaves the island today. Local designer Kimya Glasgow will also be featured on the Barbados Fashion Week runway.

On the weekend of April 14, Image model Brenda Williams will be representing St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the Miss Hawaiian Tropic International Model competition in Las Vegas. Brenda will also have to attend a regional showcase in Antigua on the weekend of April 8 and is expected to then journey to Las Vegas, where the Hawaiian Tropic Corporation seeks to find its newest spokes model.

Following closely on her heels, Nordia Jackson will be heading to St. Kitts for the Winielle Model Management “Show Me Your Body” swimsuit extravaganza. The show, which is being dubbed the “Fashionista Event of the Year”, will be held on April 30th. On her return from St. Kitts, Nordia and fellow model Odini Sutherland begin preparations for attending Style Week in Jamaica in the month of May. Style Week, which is organized by Saints International, is fast becoming one of the top fashion events in the island.

The National Investment Promotions Inc (NIPI) has also recognized the Image Modelling Agency as being a significant contributor to the local business sector. The NIPI nominated the Image Modelling Agency to be a part of the Vincentian contingent to attend the 10th World Summit of Young Entrepreneurs, which was held in Brazil.

In January of this year, Fashion Caribbean 5 was featured in Shabeau and SHE Caribbean Magazine as well as the BWIA Inflight Movie. The Agency aims to take Fashion Caribbean to an even wider audience in its tenth Anniversary year, as well as make Image and St. Vincent & the Grenadines even more recognized worldwide.
