Answer: Kitchen prices are known to reach some unbelievable highs and ridiculous lows in the market. This makes some people wonder what is really a fair price.

You can get good kitchens from the regular joiner at low prices and you can get the same at high end companies such as Exclusive Kitchens Ltd!

However, it is accepted in the industry that you shouldn’t pay anything more than 15% of the cost of your house for the kitchen, this includes: cabinets, appliances and countertops.

This 15% would vary with the materials used and the kitchen design. A kitchen is a necessity, and it has to be paid for, so here is the thing: instead of worrying how much it is going to cost you … worry about the ROI (return on investment) ie: if you pay say $10,000.00 for your kitchen… and should your house get sold the next year or the next day for instance … how much money would that house be worth on the market because of the kitchen? Would I get to put my house on the market for an additional $5000.00 because of my kitchen or would its value be the same? We will go into this in more detail next week.
