Maple Garlic Bacon Chicken

You will need: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts 8 slices of bacon (preferably thin-cut) 1/ 4 cup pure maple syrup 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard 1 tablespoon rice vinegar 1/ 4 teaspoon garlic powder 1/ 4 teaspoon smoked paprika Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste. Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish).

Method:

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.

Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.

Wrap each chicken breast with two slices of bacon, securing the ends with toothpicks if necessary.

In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, and rice vinegar until well combined.

Place the bacon-wrapped chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Brush the maple glaze generously over each piece. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.

Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Discard toothpicks, if used. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
