SVG’s laws to go online – AG Mitchell
THE ATTORNEY GENERAL(AG)’s Chambers is undertaking a million dollar exercise in a comprehensive consolidation and revision of the Laws of St Vincent and the Grenadines, a process which will result in all this country’s laws being available online, improving legal accessibility.
Attorney General, Louise Mitchell, making the announcement during the opening of the new law year of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (ECSC), yesterday, January 12,2026 said the compilation will include all laws passed up to December, 31, 2025.
“The last consolidation and revision of SVG’s national laws was completed in 2009, as such, a further revision is long overdue,” Mitchell told members of the legal profession gathered for the sitting at the new High Court location in the former BOSVG building next to the Central Market, Kingstown.
