Ottley Hall duo charged with murder and attempted murder
An Ottley Hall man, who has been charged with kidnapping, robbery and illegal firearm possession, is now charged alongside a fellow villager with murder, and attempted murder.
Kyle Providence appeared at the Serious Offences Court before Chief Magistrate Colin John, on January 6, 2026 where he was charged jointly with another Ottley Hall resident, Joel Williams, that on February 6, 2025 at Edinboro, with malice aforethought, caused the death of Carl Quow, a 21-year-old labourer of Edinboro, by shooting him about his body with a gun.
Quow was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds to his body after police responded to reports of gunfire in Edinboro, in the vicinity of the Catholic Pastoral Centre.
