Body found in Park Hill is that of 69-year-old farmer
A post mortem examination is to be carried out on the decomposing body of a man which was found in Park Hill on the evening of Wednesday, January, 7 2026.
The body of the Park Hill resident was found in an abandoned two-storey house after villagers were alerted by a foul scent coming from the area. The police said in a report that the body of Earol Richards, a 69- year-old farmer was discovered about 7:02 p.m.
The deceased individual also goes by the aliases ‘Scounge’ and ‘Sancho’.
After the discovery on Wednesday and pronouncement by the District Medical Officer that the individual was deceased, the body was removed and transported to the Kingstown mortuary for a post mortem examination. The police say this is an active investigation and are appealing to anyone who has information relating to Richards’ death to come forward.
