$4 million being spent on 2025 schools repair programme

THE ROADS, BUILDINGS AND GENERAL SERVICES AUTHORITY (BRAGSA) has spent $4 million to repair schools ahead of the re-opening of schools for the 2025/26 academic year.

Speaking on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 on NBC Radio in his role as Acting Prime Minister, Montgomery Daniel explained that BRAGSA is the executing agency for the 2025 school repair programme.

Daniel is also also the Minister of Transport and works, said $2 million was allocated in the 2025 Budget for school repairs, however, Cabinet also approved a further $2 million to be He said over the last two weeks, BRAGSA had intensified its work, getting schools ready for the new term which begins on Monday, September 1, 2025.
