Gibson Corner man charged in death of his father

A YOUNG MAN, who allegedly confessed to killing his father last month, has now been charged in relation to his death.

Venol Delplesche, 22, appeared at the Serious Offences Court before Chief Magistrate Colin John, yesterday, August 25, 2025 where he was charged that on July 2, 2025, with malice aforethought, he caused the death of his father, Osley Venol Delpesche, by an unlawful act.

Venol was not required to plea to the indictable charge.
