Cummings to NDP supporters: Register, and vote

CHAIRMAN OF THE New Democratic Party (NDP), Daniel Cummings, has reminded party members and supporters what is needed for the party to win the next general elections.

“Attending meetings don’t win elections,” Cummings said at a party meeting at Dickson last Friday, August 15, 2025.

“Make sure that your name is on the list; make sure all your children are registered. Go out and give your support.”

Cummings’ reminders came at the Dickson meeting that was held in support of Senator, Shevern John, the NDP’s candidate for the constituency of North Windward.

When the next general elections are called, Senator John will be trying to wrest the seat from the ULP which, this time around, will be contested by Dr Grace Walters.

Cummings, who is the present representative for the West Kingstown constituency, said he journeyed all the way to Dickson, “to be in solidarity with Senator John”.
