Man said he was going to kill ‘Taki’ – residents

RESIDENTS of Diamond, a seaside community in South Windward, not far from the landfill, say that the man who was discovered dead alongside a woman after a house fire, had threatened to kill that same woman in the days leading up to the tragedy.

Last Saturday morning August, 9, 2025, people who responded to a blaze at the seaside home in Diamond belonging to Carl “Gold Teeth” Jessop discovered the bodies of Keithroy “Junior” Danzil, 33, and Natakie “Taki” Haynes, 50.

Soon after the discovery, residents began speculating that Danzil had murdered Haynes and then took his own life as he had told people in the days leading up to the fire that he would kill her.

However, a police source told SEARCHLIGHT on Monday that investigators have not yet confirmed the murder/suicide theory as a post-mortem had not yet been carried out on the bodies of Danzil and Haynes.

Meanwhile, on Monday, August 11, 2025, a neigh- bour of Haynes, said that Danzil and the dead woman had some sort of dispute several days ago and he was telling people that he was going to kill her.

Another neighbour claimed that Haynes was in a relationship with Danzil, and that Danzil was a jealous man.The neighbour said that Haynes and Danzil would be good one minute and the next minute they would be arguing with one another.
