NDP’s Kishore Shallow wants less focus on partisan politics

The New Democratic Party’s candidate for North Leeward, Dr Kishore Shallow, has made a call for Vincentians to move away from partisan politics.

This call, just months ahead of general elections in St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), was made last Thursday evening, July 10, 2025 at a meeting of the NDP in Spring Village, North Leeward.

“It is time that we move away from party politics,” Shallow pronounced at the meeting.

“It is time that we move away from the division. We have to do this together,” Dr Shallow pointed out.

The new opposition candidate is calling for Vincentians to “forget about party politics”, and “encourage a people centric government.”

“We are going to effect change together,” the first time opposition candidate said of his party.
