No problem, James is King of the Road

THE ‘BADDEST BOY’- Shertz ‘Problem Child’ James- is etching his name in the VincyMas history books, taking his fifth Road March title, and also claiming second place as well.

The results announced on Wednesday, July, 9, 2025 by the Carnival Development Corporation (CDC) following the climax of VincyMas the previous day confirmed the predictions that many Vincentians had been making.

Problem Child came out gunning this carnival season with a slew of hits that have captured the hearts and ears of Soca lovers.

Two of the songs on ‘The Power Pack Project’ copped first and second positions- ‘Fraid Horn’ with 100 points, and ‘Pong Pong’ with 97 points.

‘Red Button’ by Esron ‘Spielberg’ Culzac came in at third with 74 points.

Problem Child won the Road March on four other occasions- in 2007 with ‘Party Animal’; again in 2009 with ‘Mad House; in 2017 with ‘Neva Bow’; and last year with ‘Carnival Jumbie’.
