DJ’s wife discontinues evidence against him, matter discharged

A popular disc jockey, who allegedly attempted to murder his wife by inflicting cuts about her body, was discharged after his wife decided to offer no further evidence in the matter.

Rohan ‘DJ Kano’ Cornwall appeared at the Serious Offences Court before Senior Magistrate, Colin John, where the matter involving him and his wife, Gailann Walters-Cornwal was discontinued, and he was discharged.

The development came about when his wife appeared in court on Wednesday, June, 11, 2025, and gave evidence on oath that she has no further interest in the matter.

She also told the court that she made the decision out of her own free will.

Cornwall was charged that on March 20, 2025 at Green Hill, with intent to commit the offence of murder on Walters-Cornwall, he did an act which is more than merely preparatory to the commission of the offence.

He had been released on $15,000 bail, pending the start of a preliminary inquiry.
